Maids Unlimited has been serving the Mid Hudson Valley since 1982! Owners Dolores Jakobsen and Beverly Nathan actually met as sorority sisters in college, and were reunited by chance at a meeting of the Poughkeepsie Chapter of the American Association of University Women.

Both went on to pursue Masters Degrees in Home Management and Education. They enjoyed working together professionally, and decided to use their education in a entrepreneurial endeavor that would allow them to use their skills in a service business. "Our market research indicated there was a need for quality home and office cleaning business. Many of our professional colleagues just didn't have the time for family, work, and leisure any more. the last thing they wanted to do was clean the house on their day off!"
